This book is wonderful. Like the many other DOAWK books in the franchise, this features Gregory Heffley, the supposed author of the books. This time, he has to spend more time with family, as Easter is coming near. Not only that, but schoolwork is as tough as ever, and Greg might be having some HARD LUCK in this story.
This book is really interesting, and I recommend it and the whole series (including the sub-series Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid, which features Greg's best friend, Rowley Jefferson, as the supposed author [also by Jeff Kinney]) to anyone who is ready for a good laugh and a good time.

The diary of a wimpy kid is a very funny and good book to read. It all started with Greg summer holiday when him and Rowley saved some snowballs so that later on they can play snowball fight in the summer but Rowley already made a new best friend and her name is ABIGAIL and now Rowley does not play with Greg anymore. So now Greg had to make new friends but it did not go well.so Greg had to get Rowley back as my best friend . at the end of everything Abigail broke up with Rowley and eventually we now became best friends again now every time Greg is coming from school the Mingo kids would chase Him and Rowley every where. There was a situation in Greg family that they lost Great Great Greg grandmother ring They eventually found it but that was When Greg came to HIS GRANDMA house. In Greg school there where making a year book and Rowley and Abigail where chosen as the cutest couple and FREGLEY was chosen has class clown. The diary of a wimpy kid is a good book to read and make you laugh.

This book is the eighth book of the series. It is about a Middle schooler named Greg and his not-so-perfect life. Greg's life goes from bad to chaos with his best friend, Rowley, when Rowley got occupied with a new friend and Greg found himself alone. Greg is forced to step outside his comfort zone and make new friends. This led him to come in conflict with the notorious Mingo Kids and their leader, Meckley Mingo. In the mist of all of these, Greg finds a device to help him make decisions but in the end, everything goes back to normal.
I learnt that even though some things don't go your way, there's always a way to bounce back.
