This book was the ever first book i had read when i was a child. This book made me read all of the Dork Diaries because i wanted to know more about the actor's life which is Nikki Maxwell who always have a rough time and a wonderful known as not-so-fabulous life. Mackenzie, her enemy was always looking for her trouble and making her life so miserable at middle school but she was angry that she when she saw her locker next to her's but she enjoyed writing in her diary. She had a very big secret that was she only she only attended WCD Middle school because her dad worked in the as a bug exterminator and her wanted her there as a become student there so he ask the principal and he agreed. Nikki always win Mackenzie in everything after Mackenzie will be bragging about a competition and Nikki will always comes first and wins and also she has two best friends namely Chloe Christina Garcia and Doeysha Ebony Franklin but she prefers it calling them Chloe and Zoey. She entered a competition on drawing an art work but she could not finish it but her friends helped her to do some tattoos on people's hand and she won the competition. Nikki Maxwell is not popular, in fact Nikki is the opposite of popular; She's a total dork! but Nikki's hoping that by moving to a new school, she might just stand a chance of making some friends and leaving her old dorky ways in the past but life is not simple and she has a new school, new crush and new friends.
Lessons learnt: Life is not that simple or easy; it is complicated.

I love this book! It was definitely a first reach for me and I didn't regret any time wasted with this book. I learnt alot about how toxic middle school is. I also learnt how having diaries can help you with emotional stress. It is a great therapeutic method for all teens that struggle expressing how they feel. I recommend this book to all.
